UPDATED ON 4/4/23: 2023-Community Competitions Handbook for Culinary Arts, Creative Hobbies, and Horticulture
In 2023 we have Community Competitions in Culinary Arts, Creative Hobbies, and Horticulture and the Online Registration closes at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023.. The "Danish System" of judging is now utilized at the Washington County Fair. Under this system an entry is judged based upon established criteria of quality for each type of product and each exhibit is judged according to how well it meets the criteria rather than how well it compares with the other exhibits that were entered. The Danish System of judging does not compare one person's work to that of another. Be sure to thoroughly read the 2023 Community Competitions Handbook for Culinary Arts, Creative Hobbies, and Horticulture before entering. Online Registration opened May 1, 2023 at 9 a.m. Click on the ShoWorks logo below to make your entry.
