Kids Activities

The Washington County Fair has FREE admission every day, all day, for everyone, including KIDS! There are so many different FREE children's activities scheduled over the 10 days of the fair: Movie Nights, Live Music, Entertainment, Play Areas and Learning Opportunities all focused specifically on our community's youth.

S.T.E.M. - Science, Technology, Engineering & Math:
There will be Brainteasers, Jigsaw puzzles, Tangrams, Geometric puzzles, Tavern puzzles...
You name it, we probably have it! This “edutainment” style exhibit is sure to thrill and frustrate (in the best way).
An interactive science exhibit that brings the excitement of discovery to life by using ordinary objects and games to educate fairgoers in the ”big picture” concepts of physics. Newtons Laws, engineering, simple machines and more! Sneaky Learning at its best!

Movie Night - The Incredibles (2004 Release)

We are celebrating our 20th Year of Free Admission to the Washington County Fair. To commemorate our celebration, we are showing the #1 Animated film released in November of 2004, The Incredibles. "The Incredibles is a story about a family learning to balance their individual lives with their love for another." - Director Brad Bird. Among its many accolades, it received the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and led the Academy Awards with four nominations. Don't forget your chairs and blankets so you can relax in comfort while watching the Parr Family come together in one of the best Animated films of all time! Rated PG.

Tuesday July 23rd - Main Stage: 8PM

Movie Night - Kung Fu Panda 4

Join us for the fourth installment of the Kung Fu Panda series as Po (Jack Black) tries to transition from the Dragon Warrior to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. The problem standing in his way this time is a tiny lizard Chameleon (Viola Davis) who is a wicked and powerful shapeshifter bent on domination of the Valley. To overcome his new foe Po teams up with a quick witted and crafty thief Zhen (Awkwafina) to overcome this new villain.
This movie was released in March, 2024 & is rated PG.

Brad's World of Reptiles: Every Day

Brad's World Reptiles Interactive Educational Exhibits are a hands-on experience that pique the interest of people of all ages by featuring some of the world's most beautiful, intriguing and rarely seen animals.

The outstanding visual appeal of this exhibit will draw you in, the professional zoo-quality displays and scientifically accurate signage combine to provide an unforgettable experience that is both educational and entertaining.

Dragon Theater Puppets & Princesses

Dragon Theater Puppet Shows are an interactive family theater experience. Great for all ages. Each show has a specific moral in it's theme and educational value. Our shows are built with library programs, school assemblies, festivals and birthday parties in mind. Perfectly balanced with education, action and comedy!

Silly Circus Show - In The Grove

Join Bri Crabtree on a silly circus adventure! Bri will captivate the audience with her fusion of circus, vaudeville, and silliness. The show features juggling, magic, unicycling, illusion, and physical comedy. Objects come to life, logic is turned upside-down, and curiosity prevails. Bri’s outrageous comedy keeps kids giggling long after the show is over.
Bri’s mission is to build community through laughter, and inspire others to overcome their challenges. Vibrant, smart, and delightful, Bri is one of the busiest entertainers from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Play.Fit.Fun.: Saturdays & Sundays

In The Grove - 10AM - 9PM

Imagine combining P.E. and Field Day from elementary school—that's what Play.Fit.Fun brings to the Fair! These exciting kids' activities will be held in The Grove area, shaded by trees all day. PFF's motto is PLAY = POWER! Activity, agility, and fun interactive games will ensure your child has a great time while staying fit and getting in better shape until it's time to go home!

The kids will just think they're having fun, but between us, the PFF Active Play Curriculum offers so much more. They'll experience a variety of functional, full-body movements and improve their hand-eye coordination.

The Business of Children is PLAY! Kids are built to move. Movement, fitness, and fun enhance their ability to focus and concentrate, boost their positive attitude, and improve self-esteem. With PLAY.FIT.FUN, they will also develop teamwork and leadership skills, increasing their ability to work well with others!
