THE JUNEBUGS

THE JUNEBUGS

Led by frontman and beard enthusiast Moses Barrett, The Junebugs combine high-energy pop with Pacific Northwest folksy goodness to create a genre-bending sound you can kick up your heels to.

The Junebugs originated on the Vancouver, BC circuit before migrating south to Portland, OR. There, guitarist Barrett picked up drummer Kyle Owen and bassist Sean Vinson, equally bearded and hailing from impressive musical backgrounds. Covering everything from Tom Petty to TLC to Lorde, the eclectic taste of the trio ranges from turn-of-the-century Americana to modern Hip Hop, with a strong emphasis on vocal harmony. Their original tunes have a dreamy, sweet quality reminiscent of Neil Young and Iron & Wine, peppered with fiery banjo lines. There is something for everyone here.

PIERCE AVENUE

PIERCE AVENUE

Husband and wife duo, Tony and Jaime Pierce, first met on the Texas music circuit, with the two artists eventually falling in love and making the move to Nashville in 2010. Tony’s seasoned guitar skills made him an in-demand player, and he toured regularly with top Country artists like Dustin Lynch. Jaime’s solo career (as Jayme Lynn Scott) brought her chart success on Music Row and New Music Weekly (ten weeks at #1). In 2012 they formed Pierce Avenue, creating a unique sound that blends their edgy vocals and harmonies with Tony’s off-the-rails guitar playing. Along with their original songs, their music runs the gauntlet from Country to Americana to their versions of other genre hits like John Legends ‘All Of Me’. Pierce Avenue performs 3 times each day on the BFF Taphouse stage.
